Mighty oaks from little acorns grow...

At the Tree Council of Ireland, we are delighted to support and acknowledge individuals and businesses who have undertaken to give back to
Planet Earth
by contributing to the planting goals we have at the Tree Council.

The co-operation we have received to date is diverse, from sponsoring in our gift-a-tree schemes to partnering with us in various tree-planting programmes.

This is all being done with the aim of promoting the value of trees and creating an appreciation of the beneficial role they play in both the environment and our lives.

These shared goals inspired our Affiliate Programme.
This scheme is designed to allow smaller businesses, who may be limited by budget, to be part of the
tree-planting movement in Ireland. Through the sponsorship of trees with us in our Affiliate Programme
you would be part of this movement, and allow Ireland to stand proud in the global effort to

Being an Affiliate would give your business name acknowledgement on our website along with
a promotion, and a link to your website.

Included would be the use of our Tree Council of Ireland logo, as appropriate, on packaging, promotional material
and website which represents a recognised conservation body.

In addition, we would issue an Affiliate Certificate for display, renewable annually.

“Our family's relationship with crafting wood goes back generations. The look, feel, touch, and smell of wood have played a major part in our lives and we are honoured to continue that relationship with every pen we create.

Our workshop is located just behind our home in County Cavan, the county of the lakes, with Killykeen Forest Park on our doorstep.  We take inspiration from all this beauty, provided by Mother Nature, transferring it into lovingly created sustainable, personal gifts.
We are delighted to be affiliated with the Tree Council of Ireland by sponsoring the planting of Native Irish Trees in Aurora, Glencree, Co. Wicklow through the sponsorship scheme run by the
Tree Council of Ireland.

“We decided on a plan that we would give guests the option to sponsor a native tree when they book with us. Each tree is planted on the site. This allows visitors to offset the carbon of their own journey and helps our business to remain carbon neutral.  We wanted to make a positive contribution to this beautiful, wonderful place that has given us so much pleasure over the years and which has given so much to all of our guests.

We are delighted to be part of the Affiliate Programme of the Tree Council of Ireland and to also contribute to their tree planting goals. There can never be too many trees planted.”
