The Tree Council of Ireland is a non-governmental voluntary organisation that was set up in 1985 as an umbrella body for
organisations involved in planting, management and conservation of trees. 

Our mission statement is to foster a tree culture in Ireland through action and awareness.

The Tree Trails will help to introduce you to a selection of Ireland’s native trees. In each park, there are native trees with
information signposts. To find them you can navigate your way around the park using the native tree booklet below.
Each trail has its own booklet complete with a trail map and is packed with interesting and fun facts about native trees
as well as plenty of space to sketch your tree discoveries.

What to Do:
Print out a copy of the booklet and get your crayons.
Head to your nearest Native Tree Trail and follow the instructions within the Tree Trail booklet.
