At Irish Pens, Richard and Catherine Daly lovingly handcraft a unique collection of writing instruments with wood from the forests of Ireland at the heart of each design.
"Our family's relationship with crafting wood goes back generations. The look, feel, touch, and smell of wood have played a major part in our lives and we are honoured to continue that relationship with every pen we create.
Our workshop is located just behind our home in County Cavan, the county of the lakes, with Killykeen Forest Park on our doorstep. We take inspiration from all this beauty, provided by Mother Nature, transferring it into lovingly created sustainable, personal gifts. We are delighted to be affiliated with the Tree Council of Ireland by sponsoring the planting of Native Irish Trees in Aurora, Glencree, Co. Wicklow through the sponsorship scheme run by the Tree Council of Ireland."

We would like to take the opportunity to offer Tree Council of Ireland visitors a 10% discount on any
product sold at Irish Pens!" All you have to do is use this code at

Lucy Hyland - The Self Care (R)Evolution

How do we sustain ourselves as we move to a more sustainable existence in our relationships and with the world we inhabit?

As an artist and art therapist, I craft creative self-care sessions and programmes that allow us to imagine beyond where we find ourselves now. How do we maintain care and compassion as the foundation of our work to reduce overwhelm, burnout and isolation.

Weaving together creativity and mediation, we get curious through imagination and play with what potentials might exist.

Portsalon Luxury Camping

Portsalon Luxury Camping offers the chance to really get away from it all. A peaceful, coastal site on the Fanad Peninsula in North Donegal with five lovely cosy yurts overlooking the spectacular Ballymastocker Bay.

“We decided on a plan that we would give guests the option to sponsor a native tree when they book with us. Each tree is planted on the site. This allows visitors to offset the carbon of their own journey and helps our business to remain carbon neutral. We wanted to make a positive contribution to this beautiful, wonderful place that has given us so much pleasure over the years and which has given so much to all of our guests. We are delighted to be part of the Small Business Programme of the Tree Council of Ireland and to also contribute to their tree planting goals. There can never be too many trees planted.”
