The Company of Trees - An inspiring intergenerational project!

Kilmeen National School , Co. Cork

In The company of Trees is an Inter-generational Art Collaboration between the current 3rd. class in Kilmeen N.S. and a collection of elders in the Kilmeen community affectionately known as the ”Gransterz “.

The project was initiated in 2018 and will run for six years culminating in an exhibition when the current group of pupils are in 6th class (2025).

The project Artist in Residence is Pauline Walsh a Clonakilty based artist/painter, kindly sponsored by Coillte.
