Druid Software Ltd

Bray, Wicklow

In 2025, Druid Software, based in Bray, Co. Wicklow, partnered with the Tree Council of Ireland to establish a native woodland in Avoca, Co. Wicklow. This collaborative initiative was undertaken to enhance biodiversity, support climate action, and contribute to the restoration of Ireland’s native tree cover.

A total of 500 native Irish trees, including oak, birch, and rowan, were planted in carefully selected areas of the Avoca woodland. These species were chosen for their ecological value, providing important habitats for wildlife while strengthening the resilience and diversity of the woodland for future generations.

This partnership reflects Druid Software’s commitment to sustainability and corporate environmental responsibility, while supporting the Tree Council of Ireland’s mission to protect, restore, and celebrate Ireland’s tree heritage. By investing in native woodland creation, Druid Software has made a lasting contribution to the natural environment, helping to create healthier ecosystems and a greener future for generations to come.
