Teeling Whiskey Launches Wonders of Wood Series

Teeling Whiskey has unveiled the first release in its Wonders of Wood (WOW) Series - limited edition Single Pot Still expressions matured in unique and rare types of virgin oak.

The inaugural release is matured in virgin Chinkapin oak barrels, offering rich, spicy notes of gingerbread, banana bread, and dark chocolate. This innovation is part of Teeling’s mission to push flavour boundaries within the traditional Irish Single Pot Still style.

Each bottle sold supports Teeling’s sustainability initiative in partnership with the Tree Council of Ireland, helping reforest areas in County Wicklow with native Irish trees. To date:

2022: 1,000 trees planted in Glencree, Co. Wicklow

2023: 1,000 more in Glencree, Co. Wicklow

2024: 1,000 trees in Blessington, Co. Wicklow

2025: 1,000 more planned in Lacken, Co. Wicklow

The Wonders of Wood series has received international acclaim, including the award for World’s Best Single Pot Still Whiskey in 2022. Teeling continues to lead in both whiskey innovation and environmental responsibility.
