The Tree Council of Ireland is proud to collaborate with Trustmatters, a forward-thinking and values-driven business committed to making a meaningful contribution to Ireland’s environment. As part of this growing partnership, native Irish trees were planted in Ballymacarbry, Co. Waterford, the Tree Council of Ireland's flagship project rooted in appreciation, sustainability, and long-term ecological stewardship.

Trustmatters have created an initiative to plant a native Irish tree for every client, as an expression of gratitude and a living symbol of their core values. The Tree Council was delighted to lend its support which aligns seamlessly with our mission to connect people with trees and foster a deeper sense of environmental responsibility across communities.

The woodland in Ballymacarbry is being carefully planted with a diverse mix of native species, selected for their ecological benefits and their ability to thrive in the local landscape. This project not only supports biodiversity and climate resilience but also creates a space that will grow in value and beauty over time- a forest rooted in trust, connection, and care.
